Argy Stathopulos A reporter for Channel 4 San Diego’s Prime Time Padres, Argy Stathopulos is in her third season of contributing facts, features, and fun to the pre-game show. Stathopulos joined Channel 4 San Diego in 1999 as an associate producer. In 2001, she became a reporter, contributing to the station’s sports shows Aztecs Sports Weekly, Chargers Preview, In the Spirit , and CIF high school championship games. In January 2003, Stathopulos covered Super Bowl-related events and stories during Channel 4 Super Bowl, the station’s 10-day, round-the-clock coverage leading up to Super Bowl XXXVII. Prior to joining Channel 4 San Diego, Stathopulos worked as an anchor, reporter and color-analyst for KDCI Local Headline News in Carlsbad. A native of Denver, Colorado, Stathopulos graduated from the University of San Diego in 1999 with a degree in communications and a minor in English. While studying abroad in Oxford, England, she interned for BBC Radio. An avid sports fan, Stathopulos plays a number of sports including basketball and volleyball.
