Everything at Chase Field is Half Off
Um...you guys want to get a technician out there? I took this photo about a half hour before game time and half of the roof here at Chase Field is not working. Are we going to have to play with the roof closed even though its a nice night here in Phoenix?Update - They did fix the roof about 10 minutes before 1st pitch.

Chase Field has a cut-out from the pitcher's mound to home plate. How many ball fields have this style? Is there a rule about it? Do the pitchers care whether it's there or not?

We could use a home blog as well as a road blog perhaps? Be interesting to relate to things happening then. Meanwhile, thanks guys for having Lee Smith on the broadcast right now. I always saw him as a memorable and dominating presence on the field, but never knew how much fun he can be talking about baseball as he is now.

Hey Matt and Mark my name is kevin i am a padres scholar finalist i just wanted to say that it is a nice picture taken there. My granpa has told me that when i go to Houston with him I might go to one of the games i will take a sign so make sure you put me on it if you have a chance and if my math teacher lets me go to the fantasy baseball tournament i might see you there because i am a huge baseball fan and i know more of baseball then my whole entire class put together even the teacher agreed. Hey can you guys make a shout out to Kevin Torres if you have a chance in one of the games. Pleaz??? i might play baseball in high school if they accept me i think that they will because i never been struck out in my life. If i do get to play baseball i would like to play with the best team in the world the Padres!!! Hey you guys rock
